In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful. No fresh reminder comes to them from their Lord, but they listen to it playfully. Will you yield to sorcery, while you see? And He is the Hearer, the Knower. None of the towns We destroyed before them had believed. Will they then believe? We did not send before you except men, whom We inspired.

Ask the people of knowledge, if you do not know. We did not make them bodies that ate no food, nor were they immortal.

And We placed on earth stabilizers, lest it sways with them. So We answered him, and We removed the affliction that was upon him, and We restored his family to him—and their likes with them—mercy from Us, and a reminder to the servants. And We gave Solomon an understanding of it. This is a Message for those with me, and a Message for those before me. And We gave Moses and Aaron the Criterion, and illumination, and a reminder for the righteous. To Him belongs everyone in the heavens and on earth. We were oblivious to this. Will they not believe? Then We fulfilled the promise to them, and We rescued them together with whomever We willed, and We destroyed the extravagant. Fie on you, and on whatever you worship below Allah. They do not precede Him in speech, and they act according to His command. And they cannot intercede, except for whom He approves. Will they then believe?

And We made them leaders, guiding by Our command. Do the unbelievers not see that the heavens and the earth were joined together, and We split them apart? How many a guilty town have We shattered, and We established thereafter another people? In it, they will not hear. Will you yield to sorcery, while you see? He is a wrongdoer! Or have they taken gods besides Him? They will be unable to repel it, and they will not be delayed. Do you not reason? And We made him prevail against the people who rejected Our signs.
