This restaurant has an excellent atmosphere, is out of the heat after walking around shopping all day and has the best sunset view. I personally love sunsets and I saw the best one from their dining area. The food is delicious. I had the balsamic ribeye which was a little extra fatty but the taste was amazing and my wife had the Tilapia. The fish was great it wasn't fishy tasting and had a really good sauce poured on top of it. For dessert we had the brownie with ice cream. If you are on in the area check this place out! Their shrimp wontons are flavorful and made with size able shrimp. The chicken was tender and juicy and the salmon was cooked to perfection. I would definitely order these dishes again! January Gruene river grill is my go to for any special occasion. So when my family was visiting from Canada, it felt like a perfect occasion.
