I shut it off and when I went to restart it the bike wouldn't turn over. Neutral light is on, battery is full charge. If I jump the solenoid it will turn over but there is still no spark and no spark when I use the pull starter. I replaced the starter solenoid thinking that maybe one of the poles was bad still no luck. Checked the fuse coming off the battery and it is good. Any ideas? Then get the factory manual and test all the ignition components one by one. Can I somehow bypass it?

I did notice that the head gasket has been leaking and i was wondering if you had any suggestions before i order a head gasket. My guess is it's internal. If the cylinder bore is ridged enough to catch your fingernail as you slide it up the bore to the top, or the top compression ring is not readily visible all the way around the piston as you wiggle it around in the bore, or you have scoring of the cylinder wall, then you are looking at a rebore and oversized piston and rings in addition to the valve job.
