TechnoNeko is an aesthetic based on a combination of s era futurism and anime that can be seen in old techno videos on YouTube and images of anime girls from the s. Its style is generally based on Anime characters combined with futuristic visuals and Frutiger Aero -esque imagery. It was most commonly found in Old Web era Youtube, along with other video streaming services of the time. The aesthetic is described as being able to transmit a feeling of peace or about a distant future. The visual style seen in TechnoNeko is similar to that seen in Y2K and Frutiger Aero during the s and the early s, except with a heavier emphasis on a futuristic, technology-based world.

Good morning afternoon, everyone!

Animecore is an aesthetic revolving around the visual culture of Japanese anime and manga, glorifying the various Japanese animation and comic art styles that have existed through the decades as well as their popular series and characters. Animecore is thus the counterpart of Cartooncore , which focuses on Western animation. Animecore also heavily overlaps with Cutecore. Both feature similar visuals of edited image collages and pictures of rooms, and both can include darker themes. The primary difference is Cutecore's focus on Kawaii plushies and clothing, while Animecore focuses on anime figurines. Due to Animecore's rise in reaction to "cringe culture" that is increasingly prevalent on the internet, it overlaps with aesthetics such as Webcore or Scene. Animecore is not anime on its own, but rather the images consumed outside the context of the stories anime is conveying. The aesthetic culture here is the Western fans of the Japanese genre, rather than the artistic environment within anime, which can encompass multiple aesthetics.

Early s anime art style refers to the distinctive artistic approach that emerged in the anime industry during the early s. This period marked a significant shift in animation techniques, character designs, and storytelling conventions. The art style of early s anime is characterized by several key features:. Soft pastel tones and muted shades were often used to create a nostalgic and dreamlike atmosphere. The designs often highlighted individuality and were influenced by a blend of contemporary fashion and fantasy elements. Characters were often depicted with intense emotions, adding depth and resonance to their stories. Whether depicting urban landscapes or fantastical realms, these backgrounds played a vital role in enhancing the storytelling experience.

BTW, the OP of this thread Fario is getting into Kaori Yuki's works and has really liked Fairy Cube and Guigonal and was pretty fascinated with Angel Sanctuary too and we can all agree that Kaori Yuki's artstyle is just epic and its nothing like anything anyone has seen and it just looks so good!! They are all commonly associated with the aesthetic due to the optimistic, futurist nature of the music used, which complements the style. See All Discussions. Anime art styles are distinctive.
New reply Back to top. The fashion in this series is close to what I'm talking about here and there's some "modern magic" here in the form of Nina's mini-computer. Unrelated, but there's this very cool, gothic looking manga I just discovered a while back called Fortified School that I've been meaning to read. It's from and not really from the s, but the art seems really nice to look at. I hope this helps Fario. Jan 12, PM. I love this piece of art so much I haven't read it so I still appreciate your recommendation and will look into it someday. I swear I've seen that character's face before Yes, I get that this is hilariously weird and specific and all, but I just can't help it Keep track of your anime easily by creating your own list. It was most commonly found in Old Web era Youtube, along with other video streaming services of the time. Would also love to know if this anime's any good on top of my request too. Now for my advice on getting through ptw list, i reccomend you go through binging the movies you have on your list quickly before any new episode of TWEWY does air so you can have at least those things out of the way.
