The contract covers outdoor enhancements to the structure building at Cypress Ave. The agreement states Globe Builders will be responsible for outdoor enhancements including earthwork and grading, the installation of a playground area, a splash pad, one canopy over the playground area and another adjacent to the splash pad, park benches, picnic tables, trash receptacles, pet waste dispensers and bike racks. New landscaping and an irrigation system will also be installed along with concrete sidewalks, a fire lane and parking spaces along Cypress Avenue. The park will also have bollard lighting, standard lighting and surveillance cameras. The work will also include court surfacing and striping of an existing concrete floor for use as basketball and futsal courts, the installation of futsal goals, two retractable basketball goals and lighting for the courts, according to the council agenda.
