If you have more than one stick, you can remove all of them and replace them one stick at a time in the slot closest to the processor and boot. Test each stick this way.

When I turn it on it sounds like it's booting up, I hear the fan, the computer beeps 3 times in a row I'd say long beeps then pauses and beeps 3 times in a row again. Then nothing on the monitor, fan's still running.
