I want a kit that will be good quality but not necessarily drag race quality. I might drag it a time or two but most of the time will be spent cruising with an occasional tire roasting. I believe hypereutectic pistons, cast crank and I beam rods will be ok. The pistons will need to be dished so I can run it on pump gas. I don't really need a balanced kit because I already have a balancer and flex plate. I would buy a balanced kit if the price were right and just sell the pieces that I have. Skip White has a kit that is balanced and seems reasonably priced but I'm not sure about the pistons. They're Wiseco forged and from what I've read they're noisy when cold which I don't think I'd like and don't really need.

They are substandard in appearance, and are often out of spec. If you have a problem, they will help you solve the problem.
