My psychologist referred me to Dr. Friedman to help with depression. I've seen many psychiatrists over the years and taken lots of antidepressants, so I wasn't expecting much. Friedman was extremely thorough, asking me in great detail about my previous treatments and suggested that I take lithium in addition to my antidepressants, which had a dramatic positive effect.
