Accidentally uninstalled keyboard driver

Connect and share knowledge within a single accidentally uninstalled keyboard driver that is structured and easy to search. What can I do? Would still like to know how to get our of this situation without doing that. When the computer boots up, it should install drivers for common chipset with no problem.

I accidentally deleted my HID keyboard driver. Now my keyboard does not respond to pressing on the desktop, but it works correctly in applications. Tell me what I need to do to get the working keyboard back. Reinstall the driver or maybe use a combination? If the issue persists, install updates using HP Support Assistant. March 11, Ask a new question. I accidentally uninstalled my keyboard driver and lost it in the device manager. I have tried all means to get it back including restarting my pc and haven't succeeded. Click Start , and type devmgmt. Click Action , and then click Scan for hardware changes. If that doesn't help, go to windows update and check for updates.
