The Allies have been the most dominant side so far, claiming two victories from as many matches, defeating South Australia and Western Australia, while Victoria Metro opened their campaign with a win. Several bottom agers have already begun to put their name forward ahead of the draft, with Victoria Metro trio Levi Ashcroft 31 disposals , Josh Smillie 26 disposals and Jagga Smith 25 disposals all dominating against South Australia, while Sid Draper and Tyler Welsh are firming as first round contenders for South Australia next year. While he is almost a certainty to have his name called first in November, it will be a nervous wait as to where Reid ends up, with clubs having begun discussions around trading up to secure the number one pick. After booting 31 goals from 14 games as a bottom-ager for the Jets, Morris kicked 30 majors from 10 games this year, including seven hauls of at least three goals. Curtin has now played five games at League level for Claremont and has fitted in seamlessly down back. He then turned it on for Gippsland Power, booting 20 goals and averaging 26 disposals from his final six games. Clearly the best key forward in the draft, Jed Walter boasts a rare combination of size and athleticism. He always has time on his side thanks to brilliant evasiveness, and he makes good decisions with ball in hand. DeMattia's speed and endurance blend makes him an exciting prospect, running the 20m sprint in three seconds. Sanchez is zippy and energetic, proving a disruptor defensively as a small forward and also hitting the scoreboard. Rising star Sheezel commits long-term future. Whether a club is prepared to use a first-round pick on him remains uncertain. His kicking needs work, but as one of the youngest players set to be taken in the draft the scope for rapid improvement is clear. Power Rankings 7 months ago. The best pure midfield prospect in a draft where most of the top prospects are outside the centre square — so you can understand why McKercher is in hot demand. It was a consistent season from Rogers, which is what you come to expect from how the Gold Coast Academy talent plays his footy. His energy and willingness to get involved up the ground is rare for his size. A bid may come earlier than this placing for Read, but the Suns will be quick to match. He has brilliant hands and a nice set shot routine, but lacks the size to be a genuine key forward at the next level. He didn't complete Combine testing because of the foot injury, but recruiters are well aware of his skillset, with the classy and speedy left-footer having a brilliant season that saw him be a joint winner of the Morrish Medal after averaging 29 disposals and a goal for the Devils. He finished fourth overall in the Combine's 2km time trial with a minute run.
