AIESEC is an international "youth-run" and led, non-governmental and not-for-profit organization that provides young people with business development internships. The organization focuses on empowering young people to make a progressive social impact. The full name is no longer officially used, as members can now be graduate and undergraduate from any university background. Students had been carrying out internships in other countries, mostly on their own initiative, but this came to a standstill with the onslaught of World War II. At the time of AIESEC's founding at the end of the s, Europe was in the midst of recovery from the war that dealt grave losses to its population. Factories and enterprises were in desperate need of executives, managers and leaders.

AIESEC helped me with all travel procedures and details, in addition to gaining teaching experience in a school and giving me a documented certificate in this regard, but it also helped me to meet and make friends with people from all over the world, they were volunteers like me.. During my experience, I worked on planning 2 events in Sao Paulo, learned a lot about customer relation management, and got a lot of new ideas about how marketing campaigns work there.

They hoped to change the world, one person and one internship at a time. To this date, over 40, young people around the world had participated in a leadership development experience. By now, over , experiences have been provided, all facilitated by youth for youth.
