Earth-2 Sups was pretty rough feats wise, hell even some of the crazier Pre Crisis incarnations were very inconsistent. Jokes aside, I don't agree on them being inconsistent, unlike any other comic book character.

Post-crisis Superman is a very powerful foe, so powerful that Way Big and Atomix do not stand a chance. However, Superman is not invincible: There are a few aliens who may be able beat him. These are in no particular order. Most of them could beat Goku, too. Sleep manipulation is not something Superman is immune to. It has not been shown if Gutrot can create kryptonite gas, but its plausible. He may even be able to create special anti-kryptonian gasses. Then, Feedback could finish him off before his power returns. Then he can be killed easily. This bypassed way big's durability, so it would likely work on Superman. Yes, I am kind of running out of ideas. This is a bit of a stretch. That being said, Alien X could still do so many things that Superman stands no chance: Crush him under a mountain of kryptonite, just make his powers stop working for no reason and kick him away, and is strong enough to just kill Superman in a single punch. XLR8 can't outspeed him, Humungosaur can't outstrength him, and Grey Matter won't have enough time to come up with a plan.

But Alien X is omnipotent so how can you beat an omnipotent being? But I do agree they're inconsistent, though not unlike any other comic b characters for that era at least.
