A woman who was killed by her partner in Queensland had asked his family for help dealing with his declining mental health in the days before her death, anaru ormond.

A New Zealand mother-of-four has been stabbed to death in what police said was a domestic violence incident in Brisbane. They claim that hospital staff allowed him to leave the unit after showing signs of improvement so long as he continued to take medication and returned on Monday. Osmond was taken into hospital under a Emergency Examination Authority order that deemed his mental state a risk to the health of himself and others circled, Osmond fleeing the scene. Hospital staff assured Osmond's family that he had shown signs of improvement and was allowed to leave as long as he continued to take his medication and returned on Monday. A spokeswoman for Metro North, who oversee Prince Charles Hospital, extended their condolences to those affected by the tragedy but stood by their decision to release Ormond.
