I know that the comparison can be somewhat obvious because they share a dance theme, but besides that I think they really resemble each other in the style of characters, with the exception that here apparently the dance will be individual performance, and not as a couple as in Ballroom. Both is about dance and with a unique art style. Very enjoyable to watch! Of course the first and most alike thing with this animes is that they both have a story around dancing that I would see as a pretty unusual topic in anime. The story have a similar structure in the way that it follows the idea of having the main protagonist fall in love with dancing and struggle in ways of not being good enough and still being seen as someone with a lot of potential of becoming the best.
