Caretaker was very helpful, nice lady. More warning of the many mosquitoes, should have known but the ferocity of the little devils was extreme. We were disappointed at the lack of sun allowed on to the rear terrace due to the hillside position and the many tall trees there. We couldn't get the English programmes on the TV but as we wouldn't let the men watch, it didn't matter! Also could have done with another armchair in the lounge. We used Rental Cars and were happy with the vehicle. However collection and drop off at the airport is a nightmare as there is not enough space to drive in and out. Impressed with: Scenery, lovely coastal drives, cleanliness of the sea and the air, reasonable eating out. Not impressed with: Hilliness everywhere! People generally weren't the most friendly we have encountered but we did come across some very nice ones. Visit to Dubrovnik Old Town and wall walk is a must.
