Temperatures in April will feature a big contrast between winter's leftover cold in parts of the northern and western United States as much of the South basks in spring's warmth, according to an outlook released Friday by Atmospheric G2 and The Weather Company, an IBM Business. A broad area from Northern California to the northern Great Lakes is predicted to have colder-than-average temperatures in the month ahead.
