I think Meat jerky is broken, Does anyone know how to make it? Trying to get the kibble legit on my SP for a doedic. That should make salted jerky or salted prime jerky right? Like the OP mine is not. I haven't tested in the preserving campfire for a while since I just use the smokehouse, but last check they each worked the same. I wouldn't take the wiki as gospel currently due to the amount of bugs in the game.
