As a pesqueterian Mexican living in Toronto is hard to find good veggie authentic flavoured-dishes around. The chile relleno and the tortilla soup were great! Also the atmosphere of the space feels like home as well. Noticed a lot of cool details from the lighted stone walls, to the crosses on the wall. The service and food was amazing. Our server Jasmine had amazing recommendations on drinks and was very attentive on orders and sorting out the bill surprisingly a lot of people are not good at this.

Taking over the underground cave that was once the Bier Markt , the basement space of this heritage building has transformed into a sultry den for sipping on deadly, dance-inducing drinks from the blue agave plant. This arrival of this Calgary transplant, whose original location currently holds the title for the country's largest tequila selection, could potentially solidify Toronto as a tequila town. Our Anejo doesn't have nearly as many different tequilas as its Calgary counterpart around 70, compared to a whopping , which we can thank Ontario's liquor laws for. Still, compared to the few other tequila bars in the city, it's a staggering number. The decor here is all sugar skulls, dim lighting, and custom lamps made from the quintessential blue-and-white tequila decanters of Clase Azul. I had the stuffed poblano it was fine, I wish it came with meat. My friend had fish tacos these were good and a mushroom tacos these were just okay. My other friend had the tortilla soup I didn't like this, this is not the kind of tortilla soup I'm used to. No veg, lack of flavour. I had the guava margarita swapped the cinnamon rum for tajin thanks to my servers suggestion! Fish tacos were quite dry and very small pieces of fish, more batter than fish, and beef ones were very monotone. Prices on the expensive side but not overly unreasonable.
