On the handheld console, it's an incredibly charming and fun little game to pick up when you need a slice of nostalgia, and with the Nintendo Switch hosting a handful of modern Kirby adaptations, unfortunately, Kirby Super Star still lacks on the system. It isn't the first outing on the DS for Kirby , but it's an example of a classic receiving a great remake that enhances the original playing experience. Hopefully, we get to see the game make its way onto Nintendo's most recent system but at least we can still enjoy its offerings on DS for the time being. While Animal Crossing: New Horizons is clearly the game that offers the most interaction between players these days, not everyone is a friend of the current island setting. Going back to the cozy villages of Wild World is just the thing, then, especially because there are some villagers, quests, and festivities that New Horizons never adopted.

The Nintendo DS is a console that cropped up absolutely everywhere and was owned by pretty much everyone. Business types with briefcases, mums and dads waiting for school to finish, kids in classrooms; everyone had or has one somewhere, and many people still play them to this day! Whether you bought the original DS on release day or held out for the Lite version a few years later, both consoles opened up a world of possibilities and a whole new way to play at your fingertips, or stylus tips, at any rate.

This is a great list in my opinion - lots of great memories here, both old and fairly recent. How did Curious Village make it that high!? Mass Attack introduced the notion of controlling a squad of Kirbys that collectively had to work towards common goals while avoiding damage. But no. There's really not much else to say about Picross DS. Still, some of the best experiences featuring Pikachu and his friends have resulted from leaving that safe territory, and Pokemon Conquest is a great example of that. All of the games on this list are great, though! I'm going to have to give those games a nod on the voting form. Even Nintendo was unsure of how gamers would react to the DS. The addition of a second screen worked remarkably well and inspired developers to create one of the best libraries in gaming history. The initial DS launch lineup was largely made up of typical fare like ports and sports titles, but the unique dual-screen design turned out to be the perfect home for genres that previously saw little attention, such as visual novels.
I played Metoes once and had no idea what I was meant to do. When on the train, Link must plot the best route to the end of the line around ever-moving obstacles. There are only about a dozen good games in the entire DS library that don't fall into any of those genres, and it's not likely that all of them suit your individual tastes.
