Cootes Paradise Sewage Cover Up — Sewergate Once the Chedoke Creek sewage leak was revealed, it was further revealed that Council had voted to not inform the public of the leak into Cootes Paradise, and claimed they were only following legal advice. Operating since , Hamilton Food Share is the emergency food shipping and receiving hub and emergency food systems coordinator for the network of agencies we support in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. We provide industrial-scale food resources to hunger relief agencies, operating emergency food programs open to the public. The food is equitably delivered to food banks and meal programs to ensure that people living in poverty have access to healthy food for themselves and their families. Homelessness and solutions to address it, was one of the dominant news themes in The city has voted a record amount of money to address the issue, but the year ended much as it began with tent encampments in several parks, a tiny shelter proposal in limbo and an ongoing public debate about long-term solutions. The city did beef up its investment in warming centres and shelter spaces, including a bus warming centre.
