Optimus Prime is the leader of the Autobots.

I always envisioned Optimus as a fair leader, righteous and empathic. A diplomat, but not afraid to push the boundaries. Bayverse Optimus, on the other wand, seems more like a borderline psycho who has no regrets about brutally killing any enemies on his way and not sparing anyone. I know most of the people Optimus slayed were folks like the Deceptions, but I never imagined him being so cold about it. I didn't like that one. But that isn't the character I grew up with.
