Avanti is a classic holiday restaurant, which combines a beautiful location next to the harbour, with a great menu of both local specialities and international dishes. Families are welcomed and the long list of dishes includes their well-loved pizzas. Huge awnings shade the guests of Restaurant Aquarium against the hot Menorcan sun, as they are brought plate after plate of delicious Mediterranean food. Aquarium, as the name suggests, specialises heavily in seafood. However, they take it quite literally as each table has the quirky addition of a goldfish swimming around in a mini aquarium. You can have a toastie for lunch or lobster stew for dinner, they also cater well for children.

Lovely to sit central to the main square at the Marina. We are cheesy garlic bread to start, followed by gorgonzola tortellini and prawn linguine. Gorgeous food. Ended with chocolate brownies. Two cappuccinos. All washed down before hand with two large red glasses and two small beers. Bill just a little under 30 Euros. We sat, watched and listened to the entertainment on the square and were even greater to a dancing group who danced in formation. Wonderful atmosphere.

Staff really made you feel welcome and food was lovely. Fabulous staff, great service and food, frequented by locals and clearly busier than neighbouring restaurants. Beware of you want to order a small lunch! Buses, trains and public transport. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the smells were incredible. Log in Sign up. Egg chips ect at dinner time. Visited several times during our two week stay and would highly recommend. Salads were fresh and quite big. Tried other restaurants around the marina but kept coming back; their chateaubriand was way better and cheaper than the specialist steakhouse. Pizza for the kids was great.
