With "Shrek 5" in the making, there's never been a better time to look back at the entire "Shrek" franchise and rank each of the films. Shrek 2 takes a much more fantastical approach to the story, leaning far more into the world of fairy tale characters. The musical gives bigger roles to the fairy tale characters surrounding Shrek and much more insight into Princess Fiona's character following her rescue from the tower.
