After pressure from American punk band Pezz, the band became Billy Talent and began wiggling their way towards a recording contract.

KAS, in the Okanagan Valley, was founded in May in order to produce vibrant and exciting presentations of some of the best-loved Broadway productions. They also aim to provide a challenging and fun learning experience for students of all ages. Each semester students now attend their performing arts school. Throughout the past 14 years KAS has produced an impressive 86 major productions, and has won both civic and regional awards for their contributions to the arts. It will be performed by a large cast of 33 actors. Taking on the lead role of Billy will be local talent Jonathan Fraser-Monroe.
