It is possible that you might be better off with a different type of product. But if you think the sheer speed of a vac-mop combo is your best option, consider the plug-in version of the Bissell CrossWave first. The classic CrossWave gets floors near-spotless more quickly than any other floor-care tool. It sucks up solid debris, slurps up spills, and wipes away stains, all at the same time. Fair warning: Regular maintenance is essential. The Pet Pro is essentially the same machine as the standard CrossWave. But this model has pet-centric brushes and detergent, plus a strainer which makes disposing of the inevitable gobs of wet hair in the dirty-water tank slightly less gross. The Tineco iFloor3 has no cord, so mopping and vacuuming floors is even easier than with the classic Bissell CrossWave. Vacuum-mop combos can suck up dry debris, slurp up moisture, and polish away stains and grime—all at once. The best models can pick up nearly all dry debris and handle stuck-on stuff about as well as a traditional mop. To find the best bets, we used six different models to clean stubborn stains from a few types of bare flooring.

I love this feature.

It features a detergent dispersal function and an internal water tank that allows it to saturate and scrub away dried-on dirt with its fluffy brushroll. However, unlike most conventional stick or upright vacuums, it can't be reconfigured into a handheld model to clean hard-to-reach areas. It easily cleans pet hair and small debris on this surface type, not to mention most bulky material, with no significant loss in suction performance as its dustbin fills up. Its mopping feature is also quite effective in helping it clear stains. However, its bulky body can make it tricky to clean under tables and chairs. Also, its real-world suction performance isn't especially strong, meaning it can have a hard time cleaning debris in tight crevices. It's fairly effective in dealing with fine material on this surface type and does a fantastic job cleaning pet hair, but it has a very hard time sucking up larger material.
