Otherwise, you should prepare to tackle this foe with a strengthened spirit summon like the Mimic Tear or other legendary ashes that can hold its aggro to help make the fight easier.

The boss makes an appearance twice, once in Caelid and once in Forbidden Lands. A similar version of the boss appears as a Duo fight at the far east of Nokron, Eternal City. You can summon Spirit Ashes or online players to help you in this fight. Defeating the boss will drop two weapons, Gargoyle's Blackblade , which scales well with Dexterity, and the Gargoyle's Black Halberd , an amazing Strength. The boss is weak against Strike attacks. This Gargoyle boss has a limited number of attacks that it performs. Staying close to it also lowers the chances of seeing his power attacks. The attacks to look out for are the Power Sword Slam and Halberd Power Spin , which can deal a lot of damage and more damage over time. The boss raises his sword powering it up and slams it down on the ground releasing a wave of energy that travels forward.
