The American author is originally from Michigan, who now lives in Seattle Washington as a full-time writer of her fantasy series novels. She has always been fascinated with folklore and mythology, and has fulfilled this passion in writing her vampire fantasy series. Her Vampire Academy series won awards from the American Library Association and was a hit and immediate bestseller in various countries and so the book is translated into 30 different languages. From this came the birth of her new series, Bloodlines. Rose Hathaway has been the center and wrapped up the story focus of Vampire Academy, being a half-vampire caught between the battles of two vampire races roaming the world, where Bloodlines aim to tell of other characters that have significance and greatly contribute to the existence of vampires and humans together. It also has reached theatres with the same title in , the Vampire Academy satirical, fantasy horror film However, there is a lot more to know about the important past and behind the scenes, for all cast and characters play a unique role in each story that it would not be complete and the same without them. One such character is Sydney. She is the character focus of this new compelling novel by Richelle Mead, Bloodlines, the first of the books in the spin-off series which looks into the characters from the Vampire Academy. The other characters involved are Jill, Adrian and Eddie, all regarded as main characters now in this Bloodlines series. Everything takes place in the same world, same vampire races as well as rules.

Marie Z Johansen. It's family looked real; the all police interaction between different Probators felt interesting. Overall, his prose was evocative and beautiful, while not overly complex. And then they never stopped; they were just at it alllll the time to the point where I was getting so sick of skipping pages to try get back to the story. Along those lines, I appreciate the way Holliday leans on his literary background to get him through tough moments, quoting Shakespeare or other notables to talk steel himself—or calm himself—in a tight situation is nice to see. To say Bloodlines is probably the most unique mix of genres I've read is an understatement. After the way the Vampire Academy series ended, there were a lot of questions left unanswered and a lot of loose ends left untied. This is likely because there simply isn't that much scifi noir material to consume. This isn't my favorite story. Mead is just such an interesting author, and I feel a need to do it. To circumvent this plan of attack, Jill is tucked away at Amberwood Preparatory Academy with a posse of guardians including the Alchemist Sydney Sage, the dhampir Eddie and our beloved Adrian. That being said, I really can't wait to see where it goes! This is a great book. I'd read one book like that years ago—and it was That was exactly my impression when I saw this book. Very intricate. That's not to say that Bloodlines isn't worth reading, but it's worth a warning. Then you have magic. Want to read. He was also supplying Nevermore Moroi blood and saliva. I read this book because i wanted to take a break from the one thousand pages, high stackes, emotional investment books i'm looking at you, Liveship Traders. I really enjoyed the pacing of this book. That being said the story is fantastic and I was engaged throughout.
