When I started building jigs for my workshop a jigsaw was pretty much the only power tool I had at that time except for my cordless drill. I needed to make a lot of crosscuts and cuts at different angles so decided to build a jigsaw cutting station. There is honestly no saw more versatile than a jigsaw.
