We were recommended to Cal Pep and we were not disappointed. We arrived shortly after they opened as we heard how busy it can get. We managed to get a seat and the friendly waiter saw to us. We told him how much we wanted We had bread with tomato, clams with ham, tuna tartare, fried artichokes, squid with chickpeas and tortilla. All were absolutely delicious and we just tried everything, I would never have picked tuna tartare myself so I was excited to try it.
