The one exception is the TL flash unit. It was designed for the old Canon T90 camera, and its more advanced features such as its versions of FEL and second-curtain sync are not supported by EOS cameras. You will not get the body's flash metering system to work with this flash unit. This is with the Drebel in manual mode. I tried P and the dreaded Green Box of Doom, with no success.
