The conversation picked up pace when Sam Wilson started trending on the social media platform, with fans expressing their dislike over the decision to change the face of the Captain America account. This is because it's a Captain America account, but Captain Carter, suited up in the colors of the Union Jack, is its face. Marvel had even released an official poster to welcome Wilson into his role as the Cap. The first episode of the series will focus on Peggy Carter, portrayed by Hayley Atwell, and what would happen if she were to take the super-soldier serum that gave Steve Rogers his powers. It is already known that the episode and series will see her rise to the role of Captain Carter , which is probably why the decision was taken by Marvel to swap Wilson for Carter to promote the upcoming episode.
