Madigin in or so. Howard Belk was born on Feb 15, and passed away on January 19, at the age of 96 years old. Below is the history of the Claret carson gamefarm that we have been breeding at Dragon Warrior Gamefarm, carson gamefarm, Lipa City, Batangas since we got the blood from Kuya Joe in the s. It's a story that sounds like it's straight out of a movie: the accidental origins carson gamefarm one of the greatest gamefowl strains in history.
In its prime, it was one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Catskill area, along with the aforementioned Game Farm, Howe Caverns , and various resorts and camping sites. The largest building was the Last Chance Saloon, in which performances were given and food and drink served. On one side of the park was a more Native-American themed attraction, with rows of teepees and performances of Native American dances. At the opposite end of the park was a train depot and working train in which patrons were subjected to mock robberies along the journey. A highlight of Carson City was the daily gunfight shows, in which actors recreated famous gunfights of the Old West, such as the O. Corral and Coffeyville shootouts. Established in by Arthur Gillette, a developer of several attractions in Upstate New York , [1] Carson City was one of nearly ten Wild West replica towns that were created in the mid- to late s, [2] and at approximately acres was one of the largest.

My ex-husband was a cowboy there for about 4 years. I saw many a show there and to include the jumping horse. That was actually poked in the behind so it would jump LOL. Was there a bench with a statue of a cowboy on that bench there? We used to visit all types of amusement parks and I've got an old picture of me when I was a small boy. If I can find that bench with the cowboy I'm going to sit right next to him with my 6'5 frame and grab another picture. Like a cowboy with his leg crossed over the other sitting on the bench with one arm resting on the top of the bench so it looked like his arm was over your shoulder as u sat next to him??? I remember something like that. Thanks, I went there too when I was a kid. Fond memories. Sad it is gone. Hi James. Thanks for reading! I haven't been there in about 5 years, but from what I recall, it was pretty obvious from the road.

Gigi Elmes on Flickr has posted this picture of an uncovered billboard in upstate New York. It probably was some kind of schlocky Old West town where you overpaid to watch a gunfight and drink sarsaparilla in the saloon. The Catskills were full of these places, as evidenced by this article in the New York Times. Carson City undoubtedly is closed now, since I can find very little about it on the web. But I did find this postcard of the place, presumably in its prime.

Not really selling the place very well. Update: I tracked down a little more info, but not much. This article says Carson City was owned by Arthur Gillette, who sold it in

Great childhoods memories! I was looking to see if it still was there, I wanted to take my grandchildren. I would be interested to hear about any information about any of the people from Carson City, or share thoughts or stories with anyone who used to visit. Which is currently being run by his son Jack. I then tried to see if there might be some video on Youtube from Carson City with my cousin in it. So i am happy i can bring you back some greatmemories of some great people. And what fun it was. It all started when Mr. I will need to get them on the computer so I can message you with them. None of the attractions that I have mentioned above left. Many of these people coul not get work in other places. My Dad was one of the cowboys there, And the indians were my uncles, it was a big family. I also miss Vans ice cream parlor and the town of Cario. I played the cowboy Durango. He just so happened to be visiting that day as well. Kara Zuaro. Pam, I also had lots of fun at Carson City. David is alive and well I think he still lives in the general area. Feel free to contact Cliff at number he previously posted, or me by e-mail at dctatdon gmail. I miss those days! But the story of the Clarets begins with a happy accident. For a few years, the Clarets remained regular and true to color and then suddenly some Greys began to appear in them. All commercial now.
