Questions have been raised about security at the awards show; Hatherly appeared to get on stage easily and was on stage for 30 seconds before security escorted her off. In a statement, the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, which runs the Junos, said it takes "every step to avoid interruptions to our program. CBC News asked whether there would be an investigation into how the protester got on stage and whether any changes would be made to security. This is not the first time environmental activists have drawn attention to their cause in unique ways.
