After a long hesitation i've finally decided to try one of Ark's "easiest" caves, not just to visit, it was so that i can get a decent amount of Chitin because i needed some,. And honestly i wasn't expecting it to be that difficult, groups of spiders and scorpions coming at me every single step, i havent died once but it was hard to fight with,. I haven't even reached the nearest Artifact that i already wanted to go back to the surface, while returning at the surface i met again some spiders, one of my tames got its torpor very high so he went unconscious, i was feeding it stimulants until he woke up and then decided to finally reach the surface. TIPS: if you're a low level player who's equiped with a metal hatchet or something, don't even try to enter the cave, instant die lol. Anyways not to mention that i'm Level 61, and this was meant to be the "easiest cave" lol, then i wonder how others caves are. At the end i left the cave with chitin on my inventory, which is good.

I read there are caves in map, but I haven't found one -- because I usually travel by air to get from point A to point B so the chance I would find them is low. I know the Wiki has all the answer I'm looking for. However, I'd like to do it by myself. I love the exploring aspect of the game. That's why I'm planning to search them in the Island from corner to corner of the map. It will take a long time, yes - but it will make a great adventure. I already have 5 rexes as guards and I think they are enough? Although they are so big and sometimes can be annoying when they get stuck and left behind. I need advice when I'm looking for these caves so I will not miss them.

Below you will find a map for the locations of all known caves so far. Thank you Venexis for your map and guide on Steam Community page for this game. Each of the land based caves is home to a special artifact that is only found in that cave. These artifacts are needed to summon the endgame bosses at the obelisks. The artifacts are contained within floating upside-down pyramid-shaped boxes with a white glow. Note, you may only carry one of each type of artifact at any given time. Each cave also has certain conditions like really hot or really cold along with jumps that must be made and small spaces.

The Northern Ice Cave is a stunning, cold cave protected by an underwater entrance. The reward for exploring this ice paradise is the Artifact of the Clever, as well as the Artifact of the Devourer. Both extreme cold and the risk of drowning prevent those with weak hearts from entering this zone. Or maybe 2 grappling hooks. They will be useful when you find yourself stuck. A cold, sparkling palace waiting for you to explore it - Northern Ice Cave. Extinction brings amazing views, creatures, and challenging caves. If you want to get the Artifact of the Void and face the Ice Titan, this terrifying cave will be the obstacle that stands in your way. It is the home to many wild, untamable polar creatures.

Per page: 15 30 If you intend on playing through the whole game completing one map after another, then im afraid you will have to explore all the caves as they are tied into the progression of the game's story. Hello, After a long hesitation i've finally decided to try one of Ark's "easiest" caves, not just to visit, it was so that i can get a decent amount of Chitin because i needed some, I've heared that the South Cave was apparently the easiest one, so i've decided to give it a try and, I was VERY well equiped Stimulants, Full Metal Armor, Food, Water, Sword, Shield, 2 Tames Can you define good bres wolf? But I had over hours on it without finding quite a few of the caves, so I think some of them must be hidden pretty well. The biggest and only danger of the Central Cave is that Megalosaurus may spawn inside it. Ark is a game where the Devs have put some serious effort into making pretty much everything customizable to suit the player. The Center Arena. Onyc can be particularly pesky to deal with, as they have a chance of infecting the player with deadly Mega Rabies, which can only be cured by consuming a Lesser Antidote. Cliffside Cavern. For on foot caves it's exactly the same thing only with no tame. Skylord , Devious , Massive , Clever. Despite having a large cave opening, dinosaurs classified as flying cannot be mounted within the cave. All the caves in single player are far too easy and too boring, all you need is a good bred direwolf and you can run them with ease.
