To celebrate the first anniversary of its shop in Ibiza, Maje has designed a limited edition limited capsule collection. Between land and sea, an ode to the Mediterranean; off the beaten path. The Spanish design studio, Cobalto Studio, has assisted in the artistic direction of this dream getaway to a southern island.

A pure white installation designed by the multidisciplinary Cobalto Studio and paying tribute to the spirit, shapes, scents and colours of the Mediterranean, with a nod to sustainability too, represents the Fuorisalone debut of Barcelona-based bathroom brand Roca. To mark the first anniversary of Maje's Ibiza store, the brand is celebrating in a very special way: They're launching an exclusive limited-edition capsule collection in collaboration with Barcelona-based design studio Cobalto Studio. I took time to discover this charming Island during the off-season and it was captivating," Maje founder Judith Milgrom tells Marie Claire. To celebrate the shop's first anniversary, we have designed this limited edition capsule collection inspired by land and sea, an ode to the Mediterranean. With this collection, Cobalto Studio and Maje are bringing an dream Ibiza getaway to you. Together, del Hoyo and Cobalto Studio customized the collection's "emblematic accessory," the M basket bag. The woven bag is adorned with Mar del Hoyo's ceramic shell sculptures and made in Cobalto Studio's Barcelona workshop. All the ceramic sculptures are handmade with each shell sewn on piece by piece, so every bag is unique.

She will also work on a very small ceramic jewelry collection: bracelet and earrings. By combining plants-fl owers and vases designed by her, she creates compositions that can be considered closer to art pieces than to anything else. Cobalto Studio is organized in three teams: the first covers art direction and set design projects, the second architecture and interior design projects and the third one develops the project of La Cobalta, an editor of objects and books. Thanks to the profound passion behind Cobalto Studio, after a while La Cobalta was founded: a collective body that searches for works and objects where traditional techniques deal with Mediterranean popular culture.
