Conan exiles late game
I am fairly new to the game past 2. I have enjoyed those hours this is not a complain post because we are playing on a private PVE server with friends and I do like building. But I already feel that I am reaching the end of the game. We play by two to three players at the same time and have decided to remove thralls in our expeditions to slow down our progress and increase the challenge 'cause honestly with a correctly geared thrall with correct stats, all you need is popcorn to watch, no? Yes, I have used the wiki and feedbacks from this forum to help my progression honestly I would never have star metal and other recipes otherwise just by experimenting and what is left to the endgame feel more RNG related than challenge. And even so, it is more for the completion than really to achieve some endgame content as legendary weapons and other unique crafts feel unnecessary for the progress. This is maybe linked to the PVE side, and I will still play probably hours on the game just because I like the building aspect but I feel already that I have nearly explored all options of the game. Where am I wrong? Though, for me, PvE is the ticket. Because I like building, helping other folks run dungeons, and slow-walking across the map after popping a decayed base. If you are on a private server, why not change the server settings to make it more difficult? I know some private server admins can help out here. Now leveling is a joke. Folks are hitting 60 without any clear idea as to how they got there and never having figured out how to play the game.
We have never been to the Volcano yet, done the Dagon dungeon or finish the Warmaker dungeon.

Version: 2. Once you have a Relic Hunter Treasure Seeker thrall, you can really start to push into the other areas of the game. It should be easier for this thrall to help you knock out two more RHTSs at a time; you can kill the same miniboss if needed , and carefully pull two of the RHTSs from the end of the bridge, and use the same tricks with bludgeoned truncheons for you and your thrall. Save the archers for base defense. Run away from guys with spears. You'll frankly want at least 2 or 3 RHTSs as backup just in case your main thrall dies heroically, or stupidly walks into lava or something.

Home is where your heart is — and also maybe where all your stuff is if you've gotten the hang of base-building in Conan Exiles. It's a survival game where, like most other survival games, having no home means you're prey. That's why building your base is a rather important aspect of gameplay in Conan Exiles — it's one of the few things that scale well into the late game. Consequently, it can be such a rushed necessity to fulfill shelter in your exile's hierarchy of needs that you might end up building a sub-standard shade. All it takes is one measly big bad wolf to blow away that house of straws and gobble up all the treasure inside. You don't want to be that little pig in Conan Exiles. So, take it from the pros and build yourself a good base, which will be easier as we impart some base-building tips that will help turn your shelter into a fortress.

I highly advise messing around with them in single player with admin commands just to see how they work, though. Grymm February 17, , pm I have been to other games where I have enjoyed the challenge in early days. Imagine if he was an actual friend…when he asked me to ride all the way to the noob river to listen to him playing harp, while I was busy in volcano, I would not have said no if he was a friend. You also have to make sure not to build where a purge can't get to you - or else it will spawn inside your base. We play by two to three players at the same time and have decided to remove thralls in our expeditions to slow down our progress and increase the challenge 'cause honestly with a correctly geared thrall with correct stats, all you need is popcorn to watch, no? The Wine Cellar is another dungeon that isn't worth doing but has lots of lore and powerful drops and recipes. And I like when I am not taken by the hand. They're all about the same level of power, honestly, but you can always give extras to your thralls. Originally posted by Jenshae :. Probably my mistake as I have played few survival games. Use the moments between waves to heal yourself and maybe pass out food you can use a Thrall Pot for this, but you can't control who gets what. It's not the best damage, but it's very easy to use, and it does a good job of stun-locking solo NPCs if you invest into an Agility build. You'll need to level them at least a little, give them some good armor and a decent weapon you'll be swimming in legendary weapons eventually , and they should hold their own at least.
Maybe you never expected to go out like this, slowly bleeding to death in the desert.
I though that it was not reducing your experience as the challenge laid in the endgame. The game is frankly full of content that has very little or no benefit to exploring it, other than to pick up tidbits of story or worldbuilding here and there. I miss that. The dungeon itself is still basically just one long hallway, but it also has these rusty keys scattered around that you have to find and use later, and tons of traps everywhere, so it can be annoying. Do not engage. You can also use these to randomly get some "meh" recipes from the scroll shelf near the Archivist, but these are so random and so mediocre that it's better to get feat points until you're sure you don't need anything else first. Pugilist February 15, , pm 6. Here are a few more free-form things you can work on. Now leveling is a joke. There's a few incredibly "meh" weapons and tools you can make with it, but making them is so insanely over the top boring , that you should never, ever bother. Either way, keep a page on the wiki open so you can tell what to expect from the purge. For PvP, there is never enough of anything, but for solo play, you should be fine if you've been doing that.
Certainly. And I have faced it. We can communicate on this theme.
