Many buy Costco because it's cheaper, and it it were not cheaper they'd go wherever it was cheaper. The ones closest to highway interchanges with no competition seem to be the highest. I am sure there are some stations that are cheaper, but obviously I dont' drive out of my way to find such places. Meijer goes up, others go up, Costco waits.
