One of my old insteon switches died a few days ago so I had to replace it and I decided to give costco smart switch cheap costco wifi switches a try:. Figured for the price of one Z-wave switch, I would get 3. I already helped a friend flash one of those cheap devices a couple of months ago using and OTA method with tuya-convert, costco smart switch, but it turns out those newer ones are patched and OTA flashing is not an option anynore.

Does anyone know if these can be flashed the same as the older ones and work with HA? I am hoping so, because accessing the required pins looks like a no-soldering-needed job. Turning on the weblog reveals the correct dimming values returning on dpid 2. Looks like there is a connection to a second MCU that is causing grief. Just make sure your dongle is set to 3. This will solve my issue. Add a Deal Alert. Still working on figuring how to have HA dim it. Somehow the solder does not stick to the board. Stay strong, situation always looks harder and that it will never end when you are in the middle of it, but remember past experiences, everything has an ending.
