A man in his 40s has been sent to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a single-vehicle collision in Brampton Saturday morning.

Joanna Lavoie , CP Police in York Region are looking for witnesses to a high-speed, single-vehicle crash that killed a woman in the Township of King on Sunday morning. The collision happened at the intersection of King Road and 8th Concession, just east of the community of Nobleton. Despite life-saving efforts of first responders at the scene, an year-old female passenger from Brampton was pronounced dead. Another year-old male passenger, also from Brampton, was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. Two additional year-old female passengers, from Welland and St. Catharines, were also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while an year-old male passenger from Brampton was treated for minor injuries.

A year-old woman has died after a three-car crash in Brampton on Sunday morning, police say. Two women were rushed to hospital, one of whom was in life-threatening condition, following the crash. Mandeep Khatra told reporters at the scene. A second female driver was taken to local hospital with minor injuries and a third driver sustained minor injuries but was not transported to hospital, Khatra said.
