You can only use Csp colorize Smoothing on raster and image material layers excluding image materials using vectors. Then, adjust the settings in the Smart Smoothing dialog and tap OK, csp colorize.
CSP is full of expert features and complex customizations all over the place. I notice interesting new features in the menus while making illustrations and any time Jerzy Drozd is demoing on the Lean Into Art podcast. An example of this, I've been meaning to try the Colorize feature in Clip Studio Paint's edit menu for a few weeks. In a recent LIA episode, Jerzy shared shortcuts he uses to add colors to line art. After that I was paying more attention to the coloring features and saw this tutorial about Edit - Colorize technology preview feature. Seems easy enough though I missed one key thing at first.

Join artist David Cumbo to learn some useful tips and techniques when painting color flats and light effects! In this tutorial and webinar, he demonstrates coloring tips, including the anti-overflow and area scaling features for coloring line art with digital drawing software. To do this, I will use the linework below of the character Yooka from my full-color graphic novel Yooka-Laylee and the Kracklestone based on the video game Yooka-Laylee. Next, I switch over to Marker located under the Pen sub tool palette and select the Fill-in mono pen tool option as shown in the image below. Personally, I keep this pen anti-aliased when I draw. With it selected, I will then click the lighthouse icon on the upper part of the layer palette. When I click this icon, the selected linework layer becomes a reference layer that the color layer will refer to as I block in the color. Next, I will use the marker tool to color in the head. We can see that the color will now not exceed the linework even if my cursor paints past it. We could use the paint bucket tool here as well to fill in the color, but I use the marker instead. For example, maybe I only want to color half of his head green and then use a different color on the other side. Using the marker allows more control and flexibility to color the same area with multiple colors as I go, while still limiting the color to within the line art. I color them using the same method as before. You can see in the images below that there is a little bit of white coming through at the corners of the line work here and there.
If I click on that option, any painting applied to the layer will be limited to the line itself. Cart 0.

For information on the image uploaded to the server and the generated data, see " About AI features ". If you use Colorize after creating a selection area, the effect will only be applied to the selected area. A new raster layer with colors will be created above the selected layer. In addition to the outlines, you can also create a hint layer to specify the colors before using Colorize. A new raster layer with colors will be created above the line art layer.
Today I will show you how you can automatically color your sketches and lineart with AI technology in Clip Studio Paint, for example as the basis for a painting that you want to build on further or Color Sketch to play through a few color harmonies. Your Clip Studio Paint version should run at least at 1. It is a prerequisite for the automatic coloring to define the contour of your motif. It can be helpful for the Ki to close them as far as possible, but smaller gaps are recognized and closed - you shouldn't work too dirty within the contour either. To do this, we define the lineart layer as the reference level by selecting the level in the level menu and then clicking "Set as Reference Layer" in the level menu. However, it is much more interesting if you create a "hint layer".

Hue refers to the dominant family of colors that can be discerned as the colors of the rainbow while Saturation refers to the intensity of color and Value refers to the brightness or darkness of a color. Together, they make the HSV colorspace. A colorspace is a range of colors on a spectrum represented mathematically. In digital painting, it can be described as the style how your colors will be represented in the software. The main difference between HSV and HLS colorspaces is that maxing the lightness in HLS, regardless of saturation, produces pure white while maxing the value in HSV will only result to pure white when the saturation is 0.
