Dark souls 2 heide tower
Heide's Tower of Flame is a semi-flooded and ruined area filled with towers and arches, reminiscent of designs in Anor Londo from Dark Souls. The area is populated exclusively by Old Knights. There are three levers in this area, each revealed after defeating the nearby Old Knights: two can make the Dragonrider boss fight much easier by expanding the size of his arena, and the third lowers the drawbridge to the Dark souls 2 heide tower of Blue and the Old Dragonslayer boss.
The Tower is the home of the Dragonrider boss. You can enter this area from Majula by entering the cave beside the house of the talking-cat which you gain access to by acquiring a key in the Forest of Fallen Giants. Descend the stairways and come to a room with a gate. The chain lever to open the gate is located right in front of you when you enter this room by the torch. Continue your way through some more tunnels and you find yourself in Heide's Tower of Flame. Players will then have to make their way past several slow but powerful Old Knights. These immense enemies attack with strong swings.

For both types, the best tactic is to circle them closely with your shield up, being sure to keep behind them. Their attacks can be easily evaded.
