Who knew that one day the dead would walk among us,but we'd be fearing for our lives and fighting the ones we used to love and miss.
You lay awake in the big, comfortable bed, staring at the darkness of your new, large bedroom in Alexandria. Daryl had been acting strange since arriving at Alexandria. He was not the same after the prison fell, after the loss of many friends and companies, of Hersel and Beth, you knew it, but now, to all that, you had to add Alexandria. You got up and decided to go find him, heading to the living room where you all had burrowed together to sleep the first couple of nights, until that evening Rick had said it was time you all started taking bedrooms. You walked until you were next to him, but Daryl kept looking through the window and into the darkness.

Is she alive? Can they find their way back to each other and their family? This fic was a challenge to write, covering a time when SO MUCH happened in the show but still keeping the story focused. Your name: submit What is this? He slipped quietly from his place beside you, glancing up at the warm light above, and he stretched. Time to start the day. First things first, he wanted to inspect the fence and check on the number of infected at the perimeter. It seemed like more and more were drifting in lately. He slung his crossbow on over his back and glanced at you one more time. He tried to keep his footsteps light against the metal grating of the stairs.
Rick was standing in front of another Terminus sign. But this? Your name: submit What is this?
Since requests are open may I request Daryl x reader where they separate after the governor attacks the prison but they reunite in Alexandria, or Daryl finds readers dead body being eaten?? Description : The reader and Daryl are separated after the attack on the prison and are reunited back at Alexandria. Originally posted by doublecapper. The attack on the prison was brutal and heartbreaking, it had been a home and things had been going wrong for way too long. It was only bound that this was going to happen, groups were formed as they went separate ways in order to get away from the herds and the wreckage. She was all by herself, it killed her and being alone did nothing good for her. She needs people and needs to have someone with her so she was hoping that she could find someone soon.
You and Daryl had always had a flirtatious relationship. You would always bicker but it was disguised as flirting. But after time it became more genuine and you two had formed a strong bond, always going out on runs together as you made a great team. But lately Daryl had been a little distant. It started off small, him missing dinner or only talking to you for a few minutes. But now it was bigger, it had gotten to the point where he was going on runs without you. You took offence to this because there was no explanation for his actions, they were completely random and out of the blue. Maybe he just felt threatened being in Alexandria.

He was too embarrassed to say anything even if he did get the chance. I've been thinking about it more than I'd like to admit lmao and ended up considering that maybe something that would make him fall for someone could be a hobby! They eventually found themselves in the cavernous room that held the supplies and items that were stripped from those who had arrived at Terminus. You lay awake in the big, comfortable bed, staring at the darkness of your new, large bedroom in Alexandria. You let out a sigh. First things first, he wanted to inspect the fence and check on the number of infected at the perimeter. On the rare occasions when he let himself rest, you were lying next to him, and soon enough, you were reaching out for him, pleased when eventually Daryl let you hug him to sleep, holding to you. You held it up between your fingers for a moment, your face breaking into a wide smile that lit you up from within. Daryl greeted Rick, Carl, and baby Judith as he passed the garden on his way to the fence. Your group has no guns, no food, and no shelter.

Your eyes were wide and he could tell from the shine on your cheeks that you had tears streaming down them. Parker, Shay, and myself Simi have written some for our own comfort characters but we will take requests, within reason. His eyes continuously found your hunched form across the yard, his chest heaving. You walked to your bedroom, letting go of his hand when you flopped down on the unmade bed, and you shifted to the other side of the bed, leaving space for Daryl. He fought the dead out of stubbornness, but mostly he sat numb and silent. Who will still be by your side by the end of it all? He stared with desperation at Carol again. Your only response was to kiss him. And Daryl crashed into you, knocking you off balance but sweeping you into his arms at the same time so there was no chance of you falling back. He pressed his back against the metal screen again. He slung his crossbow on over his back and glanced at you one more time. When you stumble upon a nearby settlement named Alexandria, your group decides that one of you needs to get your hands o Can you hear me? As they followed another set of tracks, they came across a sign.
Really.
