It was published on June 7, Clark and Lois are wandering through Metropolis following up reports of a giant aircraft. Lois fancies a cup of coffee, but there is nothing around them except for an empty plot. A plot with a certain Mister Mxyzptlk , digging a hole, planting a coffee bean and then watering it. Back in Metropolis , the ground begins to shake and a huge coffee shop grows out of the ground. Mxy challenges Superman to the age old test, get him to say his name backwards. Mxy heads off to cause more trouble, and Clark gets changed. Back in Looney Tune Land, Yoyo the Do-Do a funny grey bird with an umbrella on his head interrupts Fudd and Bugs and explains that he used to trick people back in a place called Wackyland. He was forced to leave, however, due to condominiums being built there, and has used a dimensional transporter to travel to Looney Tune Land. Here though, the Do-Do has found that the people are too weird for him to trick.

Pros: Most of the stories tend to range from average to above average. The Bugs Bunny story is hilarious and full of meta comedy. The Batman story is an incredible comic and nearly makes the collection worth it on its own. Overall: This is a solid collection of comics where nearly every story ends up being a remarkably entertaining adventure. The comics collected here all have the same wonderful level of humor that one would expect from Looney Tunes, allowing the stories to detail a way range of bizarre adventures. A few of the comics also have a surprising level of emotion and meaning, enough to rival many more mainstream works. All in all, anyone familiar with Looney Tunes characters should consider reading this collection. DC Meets Looney Tunes is a bit different than most comic collections out there.

Witch Hazel and her coven devise a contest to see whether cats or birds are better. Add to Watchdog. As with the first volume, these stories each tell their crossover in a DC style first, then reprise the encounter in a more Looney Tunes fashion. Good art for a story that doesn't make much sense, which considering the two protagonists, is appropriate. Availability: Pre-Order. Too much over-the-top nonsense. This story reminds me why I'm not a big Harley Quinn fan. Sylvester and Tweety meeting Catwoman is a bit of a weak link, despite being written by Gail Simone — it attempts to put a mythic dimension on their eternal battle, which could have worked, but gets drowned in stakes too silly even for a project like this, and a glut of guest stars. The current, modern, menacing, pure evil and laughing about it Joker. Skip to the beginning of the images gallery. It felt like the first set was taken seriously with real craft and effort and this one was more of a cash grab without nearly as much thought put into it.

But can this beautiful friendship survive an attack by giant Joker robots? The second group of DC Looney Tunes crossovers is in every way inferior to the first. A slapstick tale in the style of Batman: The Animated Series. When those lovable Looney Tunes invade the DC Universe and run amok, they'll find the only thing more dangerous than a falling anvil is a super-villain! Fortunately, they've not yet advanced to the point of withdrawing singles from Comixology though a few books of late have had sneaky edits, not least the infamous Batwang itself , so I was still able to read what it would have contained. Monsters meet the most interesting people, and when Harley Quinn meets Gossamer, it's love at first huge, red, hairy sight. Best part of this collection Similarly, Daffy Duck and Joker don't at all seem like a good fit. Help center. There's less stories, and significantly less quality in my opinion.
