Throughout Doki Doki Literature Club!

In this post, I will list all of the poems in the story and do my best to explain any meanings they may have. You have been warned. In DDLC, the main gameplay element is a poetry game that you play several times throughout the game. Note : Some poems are definitely more straightforward than others, and many of the poems have multiple interpretations. Version: 1. Several times throughout the game, you will be able to write poems. The "poems" are really just 20 words you choose from some in front of you. Each word will give a number of points to a specific girl, and at the end of the 20 words whichever girl has the most points will end up being the "favored" one for the next day meaning in the first two days of the game's plot, you'll get their CG scene for that day. A slight indicator as to what girl prefers what word is whether their sticker in the lower-left part of the screen jumps. Though typically points are given to every girl 1 to 3 points , the one earning the most points will have their sticker jump. A note about some minor specifics when it comes to liking poems.

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus has released with all sorts of new features and slight changes. This includes a new computer interface to simulate the original PC experience. However, the core gameplay has remained the same as the freeware version. While the goal of the poem creator is to spark feelings with a potential love interest, a side effect is how the other girls respond to each piece of work. Creating lukewarm poems may be better than writing ones that alienate or enrage the other members of the club. Medium score poems are even needed to complete side tasks and raise data percentages.
