December 12th, The other day I finished work on my laptop as normal. I didn't shut it down but closed it and I'm assuming it ran out of charge as it was extremely low. The next day I plug it in and find after a while it won't turn on. What's even stranger is that the charging light intermittently flashes when it's not even plugged in. Every 20 seconds or so while I have it plugged in, it sounds like the fan starts up and stops, but the laptop itself never turns on. I can't do any troubleshooting that involves going into the BIOS or settings as I cannot get it to turn on.

I've tried the above and nothing. Disconnect the adapter and the battery, then press and hold the power button down for 30 seconds. What I noticed is that If I plug it in the same thing happens whether the battery is connected or not.
