Difficulties getting support has led to many people living in pain. In some extreme cases, people take matters into their own hands, resorting to DIY dentistry. For most of this year there have been no dentists in Liverpool or elsewhere in Merseyside and Cheshire taking on new adult NHS patients and very few accepting new child patients.
