DeviantART doesn't think your email address is real? I know that you're not typically supposed to put problems like these in the forums I don't even think I'm in the right type either but I've looked all through dA's FAQ and even submitted a Help Ticket, but none of them seem to have a solution, so I figured to see if anyone else in the community has had this problem. It's kind of hard to explain, so I'll try and break it down as simple as I can. Currently, my old email address for simplicity's sake, let's call it abc mail. I was finally able to recover it, but for safety and privacy reasons, I made a new account and plan to make a new account and delete it. BUT, while registering the new email, I accidentally misspelled it abcd mail. I quickly realized the mistake, and fixed the name in the email account and tried to resend the verification email, but dA will not send it to the account. I don't think it's the email provider, because I tried having the email send to my old account the hacked one, on the same provider and it received it fine, but refuses to send it to my new one. I think the reason it's doing this is because the site still doesn't think the address is real and refuses to send the email. Granted, this is just my speculation, as none of any of the other problems in the FAQ or otherwise seem to be what I have. Has anyone ever had this problem? I just got a Google alert that someone going by the name of Teratophoneus on DeviantArt did rather a nice drawing of Brontomerus , one of the dinosaurs I co-described and named:. You might have a password recovery function, so as long as your email is good you can recover your account. This humble post is currently top of Hacker News. I did not see that coming. I actually went to try and update my security info on my account which requires a second verification after already having logged in with my password , so I chose to send to my email, not my hotmail for some reason, but another email. Which is fine, but once I choose that option, and verify what that email address is, the verification code never actually comes--not to my inbox, and not to my junk mail. I tried using Edge browser on my surface laptop operating on windows 10 to login which makes no difference. Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help.

Guys im so scared that i could loose this account because Deviantart doesnt send the password recovery mail. Yesterday i tried to log from my home computer and i couldnt, so i tried password recovery, a message was sent that within 5 minutes they will send the password recovery to my mail.
