I always get a second sandwich "to go" to enjoy later. Best I've ever had and I'm 68 years old. Overall experience was pretty good! Quality service with a twist of southern hospitality. BBQ was homestyle, not over the top, but still good! I loved the setting. Great family feel. My waitress couldn't have been any sweeter. I enjoyed my pulled pork and trying their two or three home brewed sauces. I would definitely eat here again. First off, Cherry cobbler and onion rings should not, I repeat should not be your best seller at the oldest BBQ restaurant in Blytheville.. Second, they charge too much considering the very small quantity of food u actually get. Then the pulled pork had no seasoning. Just bland smoked meat.. Very unsourthern like..
We usually start serving about 11 a. Eat here everytime we are in town. Enjoyed it, but wouldn't go out of my way to return.
I drove across the Mississippi River into Arkansas and up to Blytheville. Perhaps they need to get out more. An easy drive from Memphis, Blytheville is a city of under 15, in the northern tip of Arkansas, just a few miles from Missouri and Tennessee. The farms seem more formal, more business-like. There is more crop diversity than the Upper Delta, with lots of rice, sorghum, and corn intermixed with the cotton and soy beans, and the fields are more regular and the ditches more channeled. We often visited my grandmother, Nannie Ruth, in Blytheville. She was one of seven siblings, most of whom lived in or near Blytheville, so there was always a lot of family around.

The homemade french fries were a perfect pairing on the BBQ platter. Definitely try the chili one of the best I've ever had. I see why they've managed to be a hit for years October There is a reason this place has been serving BBQ for years. We stopped here while traveling. The BBQ here is as good as I've eaten anywhere.
