Dragon age shards
Investigate the Shards is a war table scouting operation in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Acquired as part of the side quest Shard Collector which becomes available when the Inquisitor finds their first shard. The shards acquired by the Herald of Andraste are unlike anything I've encountered. Though ancient in origin, few have been recovered before now. The Breach must have disrupted whatever ancient magic was concealing them from view. I have heard of one scroll that mentions the shards. It belonged to the Circle Tower in Markham. However, after the Circles fell, the Sorrell family seized many of the valuables as compensation for donations made after their mage son was taken there. They intend to sell the scroll, along with everything else, at private auction. Enchanter Renaud. If this ancient magic is tied to the Breach, or can offer some advantage against it, we need to know. Can you get us into that auction? The Venatori seek these shards as well. I want to know where they lead. We need access to this auction.
Exactly how does focus work? You know that quest in the game where you unlock doors by collecting shards, well I can't complete the last one.
Shard Collector can be triggered very early in the game, and can be completed at any level. However, the area it takes you to, the Forbidden Oasis, has enemies that can reach Level 12, so you won't want to wander too far out of camp. This quest has two triggering requirements. To find a shard, you must first locate a glowing skull anywhere in the area. The skulls are marked on your map, and they're called Ocularums. When you use an Ocularum, you can seek glowing dots in the terrain.
The Temple of Pride is automatically triggered upon entering the Forbidden Oasis the first time, and it's indirectly a fairly important quest for your character's attributes. To enter it, you'll need to collect at least six shards spread throughout the area. Explore around for Ocularums and shards; any six in the Forbidden Oasis will do. It may be a little tricky to find the entrance of the temple in question. To find it, follow these steps:.

Still SOL and can't find anymore, because apparently there are none. Is it worth the time to go all around and collect the shards on every map? Exactly how does focus work? I don't know if its a design choice.. Each of those rooms has 3 rooms that has a stone coffin in the room that gives bonus resistance to either fire, ice, or spirit. I followed the lead and believe one such temple stands in an oasis in the Western Approach. See details Show less. What do you need help on?
