Kind of better for collecting purposes. I heard the pro series counterpart has burst stoppers. This Bey is lovely. I think that switching the layers is such a nice feature to include. The fact that it comes with such an Amazing Launcher is super sweet.. I love it!

Dragon beyblade

Dragon's appearance is a blend of Western and Eastern Dragon anatomy; possessing the head and white hair of an Eastern dragon, and the body and wings of a Western dragon. He is predominantly aqua blue with a darker blue underbelly, and has yellow scales on his forearms, hind legs, shoulders and upper leg joints. The wings have drastically changed: the main wings have more gold armor on the index metacarpal, dark-blue metacarpals, and silver patagia, the twin blades on each have shifted pattern, the middle blades have a reverse color scheme from that of Imperial Dragon's and appear more wing-like, and the two lower blades are prismatic, glowing the colors of the rainbow a nod to the Rainbow Turbo move. Gambit Dragon's avatar uses the same form as Triumph Dragon's with little alterations: a red-rimmed yellow crest on the chest with the same red gem in the center, and the scales on the dragon feet are more armor-based in appearance with more blue on each toe. Takara Tomy's Dragon is a right-spin DB Core that features the head and claws of a dragon, akin to its predecessors in the Dragon line. Like the Valkyrie 1 DB Core, Dragon features a gimmick: when struck by an opponent, a built-in spring mechanism causes the DB Core to rebound, which allows a Dragon combination to perform Bound Attacks. While in theory this improves Attack potential, in practice this gimmick is to the detriment of an Attack combination, as the rebound, combined with strong impacts, can cause the combination to Burst. It is thus better suited in Defense and Stamina combinations, where the gimmick increases Defense. While Dragon is functionally similar to Valkyrie 1, it has stronger Burst Resistance and a more compressed spring. The more compressed spring of Dragon means it has a shorter rebound distance than Valkyrie 1, while retaining the defensive properties of the gimmick.
